Swim Lessons, Session 2

Swimming
Whether your child is getting in the water for the first time or looking to refine their swim technique, we've got a class for them. Our swim instructors follow the American Red Cross curriculum and are trained in life saving. The guards are excited to teach your little swimmers to become little fishes!!

General Information
  • Program will be broken down into 3 sessions, each session is 2 weeks long
  • Session I: June 29-July 10, Session II: July 13-July 24, Session III: July 28-August 7
  • Each session will be broken down into 5 Levels with each class being 1/2 hour long:
  • Level 1: 9:45am, Level 2: 10:30am, Level 3: 11:00am, Level 4: 9:45am, Level 5: Based on Availability

Breakdown of Levels
  • Little Guppies: Introduce swimmer to the water, must be at least six months old
  • Level 1: Help first time swimmers feel comfortable in the water
  • Level 2: Student will learn how to float and start to develop fundamental skills
  • Level 3: Student will learn the front crawl, backstroke, and treading water
  • Level 4: Students will learn endurance swimming in elementary backstroke, breast stroke, sidestroke and to turn at the wall
  • Level 5: Provides further coordination and refinement of strokes
